Walk for A Cure

Women In Touch participation in the Making Strides Against Cancer Walk was a success. Teresa and Cyndi ( along with their daughters ) covered 3 miles of Town Point Park in heavy rain and a stream of walkers from all over the tidewater area. Thanks to support from family and friends and some of the women from Women In Touch they exceeded their goal of $200. Thanks to everyone for their love and support. We were very proud to walk in the name of our friend, and sister Gail.

WIT Wives

We had a blessed time in the Lord this weekend. Wiley would have been very pleased. I do believe this was the largest group of WIT Wives to get together in a very long time. ( Missing from this picture was Sonia and Miriam who had to leave early). But....Mama Chandler finally made it into a group photo. Yeah !!!!

Just a Reminder

We will be gathering at the meeting spot on this coming Saturday at 12:30 pm (pulling out by 1 pm sharp ) before departing from VA Beach for Chase City VA. Pastor Ricky Lee and First Lady Pamela Lee will be celebrating three years at Bethlehem Baptist Church. In honor of this day the church will be honoring their First Lady. Our WIT wife Rev. Pamela Lee. We are hoping that many of our WIT sisters will be there to celebrate on this very special day.

Just In:

Rev. Lee will be in Revival with Rev. Jeffrey Davis and the Greater St. Andrews AME Church August 28th-31st. I am sure Rev. Davis and Rev. Lee would love to see some of our bright and shiny faces during the revival.

I also understand that WIT wife Greta Smith has made it safe and sound to South Carolina.
